About

Our mission

Give everyone the opportunity to find their favorite gift and be happy about it.

What are Russian memories in reality?

Arriving in a country that is new to us, we try to get acquainted with the new traditions and customs of this people, to understand its mentality and, of course, to take an interest in its culture. At the end of our stay, we try to take "a piece of this country" with us. This part of this country is expressed through memories that we take with us. And what Russian souvenirs can we give to friends or relatives? The difference between Russian souvenirs and others is that it is a handmade work of art; each has its own story, its own path. These memories turn into a business card of Russia.

Matryoshka, the real Russian beauty

Also known as Russian doll or nesting doll is the authentic Russian gift.

This figure has an original and interesting version. In the 90s of the 19th century, in the Moscow toy workshop "Education of Children", Madame Mamontova brought a figurine of the old bald sage Fukurum from Japan. This figurine consisted of several figures enclosed in each other. Cabinetmaker Vasily Zvyozdochkin, who worked in this workshop, carved similar figures nested within each other from wood, and artist Sergey Malyutin painted them as girls dressed in Russian style. Today there are thousands of varieties of nesting dolls to suit all tastes.

This doll is able to please children and adults with its brightness, originality and mystery, because it is so interesting to open one matryoshka and find another.

The jewelry box - another popular souvenir.

The jewelry box is a small box for keeping small, usually valuable, things. Jewelry boxes are made of wood, metal, plastic, ornamental and precious materials like bone or stone. To give a nice look, they are often covered with leather, expensive fabric, inlaid with precious stones, covered with relief carvings. The styles generally used are: Gzhel, Hohloma and Paleh.
